Apple chutney, a little delight

 Ingredients

  • 1.5apples
  • 150raisins
  • 1organic black pepper from Madagascar
  • 2Cinnamon
  • 1turmeric
  • 1/2teaspoon of garam masala
  • 1teaspoon of Indian five spices
  • 1/2Clove
  • 250ml of cider vinegar
  • 200g of brown sugar
  • 1little spoon of salt

Preparation tips



Cut the apples into small cubes (1cm x1cm). In a saucepan, add the apples, raisins, sugar and a little water (2 glasses). Let the grapes rest and swell. Add the cider vinegar, spices and salt.

Cook over low heat for at least an hour. Check that the bottom does not stick, just in case, add a little water. 

The chutney is ready when it has the consistency of applesauce.

Easily replaces ketchup for other dishes.
